Goal line technology anybody?

Reflecting on last night’s incident, it certainly provided another strong ammunition for goal line technology proponents in their continuous demand for the technology to be introduced to the beautiful game sooner than later.

Still, it’s open for debate…

My take on the matter?

It’ll take the fun out of the game ;)

Btw, Di Matteo for Chelsea? After last night’s result, presumably a contract is being drafted at this very moment…

Note: Kira ok la tahun ni.

Next stop, Harvard :)

Homeless, abandoned by her parents and once declared a high school dropout, a hardworking 18-year-old has turned her life around earning her acceptance into Harvard University with scholarship this fall.

High school graduate Dawn Loggins says her life in Lawndale, North Carolina first started out in decay, among bullying and a broken home surrounded by drug use and squalour before eventual abandonment by her parents.

‘I looked around at my family and I saw the neglect, the drug abuse, the bad choices and I saw my family living from pay check to pay check,’ she recounted to WBTV.

Day 237: Soft Launch…

Sent the kids to school quite early today, 7:00 am to be exact. Soon after, I was on my way to KL to attend a soft launch event at BQSM.

The traffic was exceptionally rather kind this morning. Managed to reach KL around 8:15 am…

The event went smooth, Alhamdulillah. I was the given the task to demo the system and the feedback that we received from the audience was very positive :D

Note: Can’t reveal the project just yet. Not until it’s up and running…

Flop Poppy – Masih

Heard this song whilst the four of us were having dinner @ Nyonya, Subang.

Suddenly, all the sweetest memories of Troy came back to mind…

Day 235: Submitted…

Alhamdulillah, after almost 8 months into this journey, I finally submitted my research proposal to the Graduate Office.

A hectic day indeed today.

Went up and down the stairs of my faculty to get a few things in order prior to the submission. Seriously, after all that exercise, who need to go to the gym to get fit, huhu…

Tentatively I’m scheduled for the 16 of May to defence my research proposal. The powerpoint slides are more or less completed.

I guess the best thing to do within the next few days is to try to set a few appointments with some of the profs. to get some valuable tips…

And now, it’s time to reward myself. Layan bola le, apa lagi, huhu…

A week has passed by and the verdict is…

it’s simply Awesomeness!

I found myself reading a lot of articles within this 7-day period. The absence of a real keyboard and a mouse, in a way, helps to focus my attention on the screen i.e. no unecessary distractions.

Yes, multi-tasking on a tablet may require a bit of ‘kesabaran dan ketabahan’, but, for checking your emails and browsing the Net (not forgetting a bit of office work), tablet like Galaxy Tab and iPad are really2 good at those things!

And of course, a good data plan will be a bonus!

Man City 1-0 Man Utd ~ The sky is blue indeed…

Manchester City took control of the Premier League title race with two games remaining after a derby victory saw them leapfrog rivals Manchester United at the top of the table.

Vincent Kompany’s header in first-half stoppage time gave City the win that means they have wiped out the eight-point advantage held by United three weeks ago, and move to the summit on goal difference.

City needed the victory while Sir Alex Ferguson knew a draw would suit his purposes more than opposite number Roberto Mancini – and this was reflected in his team selection that saw Wayne Rooney desperately isolated as a lone striker.

In a game of few chances, City were the more positive side and deserved the three points on offer in what had been labelled the biggest game in the Premier League’s 20-year history.
